My modem problem yesterday set me back a little, but I finished the game earlier this evening. It was something of a chore.
So I’ve met all the faction leaders now, and I’m not too thrilled with any of them. The best choice seemed to be the moderate Shaper, Astoria. I signed up with her faction.
Going on with the game, I’ve met a couple of other faction leaders and picked up more things to do, though Morgana hasn’t committed herself to a group yet.
Yes. Though I wrote back in Geneforge 5: Demo Ends that I wasn’t going on with it, I am in fact continuing the game. And no, I didn’t pay for it.
Darindel has clawed his way up to level 30 (no easy task) and down to dungeon level 30. The game is becoming a real slog now.
In a typical RPG, the tougher the opponent, the more experience it’s worth. This does not seem to hold true in ZTK. At least not by my reckoning.
Well, that was quick. Much faster than the demo portion in the previous game. Then again, there were far fewer areas to visit. Verbose mentioned in his comments to my earlier post that Jeff seems to be cutting back on his demos, and it certainly seems that way here.
Yes, Geneforge 5 Windows version came out a little sooner than anyone expected. Even Jeff ;). It’s been available since last Thursday (2/19), but I waited a few days to be sure there were no major problems with the release. So far, it looks to be clean, so I grabbed it this morning.
