A Day Off
by Scorpia

Well, I was going to post something today, but got caught up in other things. So you’ll have to wait until tomorrow for some words of wisdom ;)

In the meantime, I finally paid a visit to the Just Adventure forum, where I saw that Jane Jensen is back in action and is supposed to have a new adventure game out late next year.

That’s good news. Jane’s always done superior stuff and it will be interesting to see what she comes up with this time.

Question Of The Day
by Scorpia

It seems that a number of people here – at least going by those who leave comments – have a long history of gaming. And a lot of those remarks have been about the fun of playing the early games. Not much has been said about the fun of playing more recent ones.

In The Beginning…
by Scorpia

Going by the comments left around the site recently, it seems that nostalgia is in (has it ever really been out?). With that in mind, I present My First Gaming Experiences, and reveal what has been, until now, a secret known only to two people (I being one of them).

TitanQuest Review
by Scorpia

TyphonMuch has been said about TitanQuest being a Diablo 2 clone. There is some truth in that. Iron Lore obviously used Diablo 2 as their working model. One could almost say that if Blizzard had done a third game, it would have been something like this. Yet Iron Lore has added touches to make the game their own.

Typically, you are out to save the world. Instead of facing a great demon at the end, however, you are up against a great Titan.

A Trip To The Museum
by Scorpia

For whatever reason, I decided to look at our links page (Places To Visit, over there in the left-hand column). To my horror, I saw that one link was missing.

On Reviewing
by Scorpia

Over the years – at least while I was writing for CGW – readers would occasionally say they wished they had my job. My usual response to that was, “Oh no you don’t”. To those on the other side of the fence, it naturally seemed like the perfect situation. But reviewing games is no easy matter.

TitanQuest – Finished (yay!)
by Scorpia

So, it’s done. I am very, very, VERY glad the game is finished. For awhile, I really wondered if this was going to go on forever, or close to it. But let us make haste (sorta) to the finale.
