I don’t have to tell you where I am, because you already know ;). Yes, this gas station is definitely the main base of operations for the game. But I have been prowling around.

I’ve also been reading a lot of stuff, and by now I have a fairly good idea of what’s going on (not that it makes the situation any more pleasant, mind you). And an idea of what needs to be done to set things right.

Finding stuff remains tricky. I really have to move that cursor carefully all over, especially in close-ups. The nasty part is that there are close-ups just for the sake of close-ups.

Anyway, I’ve now been in all three motel rooms (this is definitely budget city here), picked up some more items, and taken a stroll into the lovely nearby swamp/bog/whatever. Found radio station BHR, which happens to be a trailer of some sort.

Empty, of course. Then I had the fun of putting together a metal detector, and doing some more poking about the area. I just wish it weren’t so dark. Sometimes it’s difficult to tell where I am, even though you can’t just go “everywhere”.

And would you believe, Ms. Emma Harry, she of station BHR, is still alive? Yes, she called on the cell phone. The conversation was a bit one-sided, however. She was ranting and crying rather like poor Ben before the Whatever broke into the office. I have no idea where she is; maybe somewhere deeper in the muck.

But I suspect I’ll have to find her before this game is over. I also suspect that visiting Barrow Hill will be the finale of the game, and I think I’m pretty close to that now. Well, kinda close. Still missing some stuff yet. And the game is still as creepy as ever.
