In the latest on this controversy, the Slamdance organizers have come up with another reason for pulling Super Columbine from consideration.

Now they’re saying – shorn of fancy talk – they prefer to avoid possible litigation. Of course, that has not helped any credibility they may still have.

It also makes me wonder what’s been going on in the background, and if there have been any hints or threats about lawsuits over the game’s content.

Then again, maybe they’re trying to save face by coming out with this reason. That, however, doesn’t go well with other remarks they made in their statement.

In fact, it’s contradictory. If there was any clear thinking at Slamdance, it’s gone now. They look like they’re running scared and grabbing at any excuse they can think up.

More and more, it seems there won’t be much of a Slamdance next year. Read for yourself and see what you think.
